One of the greatest perks of working for EZregister is the time we get to spend getting to know our clients and working with them at their events. We would be stretched pretty thin if we attended them all, but there are a few favorites we simply never miss. Without question, the Firefighter Calendar events create some of our most memorable nights out. This year, the ladies in our Promotion department – had a particularly fabulous time. In addition to sharing some photos, we also wanted to share some event check-in tips that will help your ticketing run more smoothly.
3 QUICK TIPS TO HELP YOUR CHECK-IN PROCESS RUN SMOOTHLY
1. Preparation is everything. Before the line starts to form outside your door, make sure you have a quick rehearsal or ‘dry run’ with your ticketing team. Leave plenty of time to correct any areas that might be too time consuming or confusing once a more impatient line of attendees starts pushing to get in.
2. For large events, prep two different check-in stations. If a problem arises, at least you will always have the other line moving.
3. Make sure that the people with information and answers (organizers/event planners), are not stuck handling menial tasks. They need to be flexible and available to move around to address questions, improve event systems, and interact with sponsors and VIPs.
